Billionaire Boy at Nuffield Southampton Theatres

Did you see Billionaire Boy the musical at Nuffield Southampton Theatres? Wasn’t it INCREDIBLE?!

To the delight of fans, Billionaire Boy ran from November 2018 until January 2019, making it the perfect Christmas treat. The hilarious musical was recommended for ages 5 and up, so whole families could sit down to enjoy it together! Reviewers agreed, with The Stage calling it “a really strong, super-funny new musical with serious commercial gloss.”

What was it about?

Based on the bestselling book by David Walliams, Billionaire Boy follows overnight success Len Spud and his son Joe.

Mr Spud spends, spends, spends on fast cars, 100-inch TVs, and lavish gifts for his glamorous new girlfriend, Sapphire Stone, so Joe is left to fend for himself.

In the unforgiving world of the school playground, things get more complicated as Joe navigates an assault course of school bullies and dangerously inedible canteen food.

I missed out!

Don’t worry! You can catch up with some great videos, instead! Watch rehearsals at the Nuffield Southampton Theatres here:
